Nancy OleksaNancy Oleksa has used watercolor as her medium of choice since she was first employed as a color separator and illustrator for American Greeting Card Corporation. Through her experience as a color separator, she began to appreciate the complexities that go into achieving glowing color and color mixing. She continued to develop her watercolor skills and understanding of color mixing as a professional artist until being hired as a watercolor instructor for Palomar College. It was at Palomar College that Nancy was able to devote herself full time to the exploration of watercolor. As both a professional artist and instructor, Nancy has been sharing her passion for light and color with the public for over 30 years. Nancy is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a double major in Visual Communications and Photography. |

About this Workshop:Nancy will take you on an intriguing journey to explore the movement and properties of color that will help to get you on your way to achieve brilliant color choices. In this workshop you will learn to select color properties, values, temperatures and methods of application wisely. These discoveries will open your eyes to the kaleidoscope of color possibilities that await you and make your paintings extraordinary! All levels of ability are welcome.
