I started drawing when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I simply picked up chalks and drew on doors and walls, it used to drive my grandpa mad! I always loved it naturally, and through my 6 years of art school training, I put a lot of effort in my drawing practice, it is one of the reasons why I am able to paint today.

I have been teaching since 2003, starting in New Zealand with my own private art school called Mona Lisa Art Studio, then recent years in Geelong Art Society and Victorian Artists Socity in Australia. During my teaching I have seen so many people who would love to improve their paintings skills, but have limited drawing skills. I always feel very important to use the opportunity of my workshops, to emphasis teaching in drawing for watercolour. So many people who have been in my classes before, have commented that they received huge benefit from my drawing teaching. My students from this workshop will hopefully realise by the end of the course, that watercolour is not very difficult once you can draw properly.
