HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
We start the new year off with celebrated artist and art educator Shuang Li. Shuang Li is a signature member of the San Diego Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, and America Watercolor Society. Her style and paintings are influenced by John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer, Edgar A. Whitney and Tony Couch. This past summer Shuang polished her painting skills alongside Joseph Zbukvic. I am sure he learned from her too! Shaung’s landscapes are rich in color, mood, atmosphere and action! Every time we have her demo it is like taking a workshop. She has the ability to share the secrets of watercolor and enjoys doing so to help all of us succeed in our journey as artists. Her famous tip is to paint a subject ninety-nine times in order to get good at it! Shuang travels the world painting and sketching for inspiration for her watercolors. Shuang has won countless awards and honors for her beautiful paintings. One of Shuang’s current endeavors is having plein-aire workshops! To find out more about these and her other workshops visit her web site: shuangliwatercolors.com
