Our Demo Artist for Paintoutfest day this October is Jami Wright. Jamie’s demo for the paintout will focus on water. Water direction is always changing and appears differently based on the sky and surroundings. Water can be reflecting, opaque, calm, moving, still, deep, shallow and transparent. Sounds like the beat of a rain dance! Jami will show the tricks of how to paint water. She loves the challenge of painting water with watercolor because of the fluidity, and the transparency. Each time she paints her results are different and fun!
Take 8 West and keep to the left lanes toward beaches. Take exit 1 for West Mission Bay Dr for 0.3 mi. Use the right two lanes to turn right onto West Mission Bay Dr for 0.7 mi. Keep left to stay on Ingram St for 0.8 mi. Turn left onto Vacation Road for 194 ft. Turn left on Hibiscus Ln for 390 ft, then turn right onto Hibiscus Lane for 0.1 mi and follow it around to the parking lots. Jami will be at the two parking areas on the southwest end.
