Our Demo Artist for the day is Geoff Allen! Geoff is an amazingly accomplished multi-talented talented who we all recognized as our fellow SDWS member who we recognize as a much award winning Plein Air artist. We'll see that Geoff likes his brushes to agitate the paint, and he loves lots of brushes that he takes with him everywhere. Come join us to see him in action for this enjoyable paintout event!
Geoff's demo will start at 9:15 am (15 minutes after the Gates open) and the review will be at 12:45 pm.
Take I-5 North take exit 44 for a right turn onto La Costa Ave, then turn left onto El Camino Real. Then turn right onto Alga Road. Turn left onto Melrose Drive. Then turn left onto Carrillo Way. Then turn right onto Flying Carrillo Lane to the destination.
Please allow yourself enough time to get there by 9:00am. The demo will start at 9:15 It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get to Leo Carrillo. The park gate does not open until 9:00am. Please do not come early as the park opens at 9am and they specifically asked us not to line up in the cul-de-sac at the gate with our cars! I go past the entrance into the neighborhood and park down there until the park opens. There is plenty of time to get ready for the demo if you arrive at 9am.
