Robin St. Louis featured in SB Food + Home magazine (Fall 2021)

Robin St. Louis, a member of the San Diego Watercolor Society (SDWS) and resident of Palm Desert and Santa Barbara, CA, had been looking for a jigsaw puzzle for a gift, and found he didn’t really like what she saw on the shelves of stores. She really wanted an image of a painting, not a photograph. Ever resourceful and creative, she set out to make her own, and Sunlit Studio Puzzles was born.

An award-winning watercolor artist with a 35-year career in painting, St. Louis discovered quickly that what makes a great puzzle is lot of pattern and variety over the entire surface of the painting. She now has 6 watercolor images available in 500 and 1,000-piece puzzles. Her paintings tell a story, and convey her love of the towns she lives and works in.
