Omar Chavez, of the JIT staff, said “This experience was beyond exceptional. It was a demonstration of what JIT is all about. We collaborated with community members to elevate the lives of the youth we serve. San Diego Watercolor Society members, Michele, Laurie, and Cappie all came in and shared their experience and expertise with abstract art. The art show helped bring confidence to participants. It was a magical moment seeing each piece sold and having others interpret what the art pieces meant to them.”
