Saturday Monthly Paintout: Sarah Sullivan will show us the artistic elements that a black background and opaque gouache can achieve. Expressive lines, bold color, fluorescent glow, dimension, excitement, and POP!
Location: East end of Lake Murray, near the docks and restrooms.
Directions to Lake Murray—5540 Kiowa Drive, La Mesa. CA. 91942 From Interstate 8, exit on Lake Murray Boulevard North. Go up the hill a short way and turn Left on Kiowa Drive (at the Starbucks). Drive along past the lake to the large parking lot. Turn left and try for a place at the far end. We will be near the boat ramp and restrooms. Be prepared to pay a parking fee of three dollars—something new and possibly enforced.
